Elden Ring out has topped your About Wanted list at this year's Propitious Joystick Awards

In our mega list of Most Wanted games, it's FromSoftware's Elden Ring that has emerged victorious at this year's Golden Joystick Awards.

Hot off the dorsum of the easily-received Elden Ring Closed Network Test, fans are clearly enamored by FromSoftware's barefaced-world title, filled with the kind of monsters and creatures that only a Soulsborne courageous can deliver.

It was a hotly contended family in the Golden Joysticks this year, as always, with Elden Ring topping the heel onwards of last year's victor, Deity of War: Ragnarok. But, it also North Korean won out against titles like Gloriol Multitudinous and Horizon Forbidden West to take base the prize.

The full listing of nominees was:

  • God of War: Ragnarok
  • Skyline Forbidden West
  • Anulus Infinite
  • Marvel's Midnight Suns
  • GTA 5: Enhanced Edition
  • Skate 4
  • Elden Ring (winner)
  • Lego set Mavin Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • The Fable of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
  • Pokemon Legends: Arceus
  • Starfield
  • Gotham Knights

Set to release connected PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on Feb 25, 2022, fans don't take in that long to wait for their Most Wanted game.

In our recent active prevue of the game, Austin Forest delineated Elden Ring as "a familiarly punishing, third-person action RPG woven into a smart and enthralling open world".

"To a higher degree some previous FromSoftware game, it begs to be explored. Information technology's Big Dark Souls. IT's Dark Souls 4 in all but name; a gigantic RPG that I dog-tired 14 hours exploring, like, three percent of without getting bored. Elden Peal is exactly what I was hoping for: the greatest hits concert that FromSoftware has been building towards for over a decade."

Elden Ring is launching February 25 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, PS4, and PS5.
